If you really want to get rid of superteams then get rid of the max contract all together. legitimate superstars would easily be able to get like 80+ million dollar deals. Then if a pair of stars wanted to play together they both would have to take a massive pay cut to actually do so.
Their egos would prevent that from ever happening.
