They have seen him everyday, for years. They know exactly who he is. I don't blame Ja. This is who he is, and they absolutely already knew it.

Ja is just being Ja, no apologies. I'm sure there is no surprise that this is where they have ended up

They had plenty of time to get out of this without losing significant trade value. They chose to chase a dream.

Exactly. And they're done with it. Catering around him hasn't worked to the best benefit of the franchise. It's just been one fire to put out after another. So they let go of a coach and GM who were fighting, put in a coach who has a team first system, one who won't bend to an immature malcontent if anything doesn't go his way, and Ja has to now show either get on board or walk the short plank.

He actually has a choice here, and is choosing to clearly not be involved in making it work. Can anyone say he is putting in his best effort and is frustrated that it is not working? Or is he actively working to sabotage it while saying this doesn't work?

Team has a direction in place. After over-catering to Ja, team is putting team first.

Gobert and Randle have not been anywhere near the nuisance Ja has been in that locker room. I hate the idea of Ja in Minnesota, not to mention what it'd take to get him, even if value is compromised.

The only place I can think of where he might be able to rejuvenate himself is Miami, because if anyone can whip him into shape and help him develop the right attitude, it's Spo and Riley, with the likes of Bam on the court keeping him accountable too. They won't settle for any of his garbage.

Other than that, I do agree that the Pels are a team reckless enough to make an unwise move for him. Perhaps Orlando, but I hope they don't.

Rudy was not all that liked in Utah. Randle was getting into altercations with teammates on court in NY. Miami does not have the pieces to get a player of Morants value. They try to get a star every year.

Randle has been a great teammate in MN. Other than Kyle Anderson taking a swing at Gobert a couple of years ago, Rudy has been too. Neither are seen as a problem for the Wolves.

That will never happen, the NBA would lose alot of money if that happens

Starting to wonder if this is intentional cause dude has been horrendous lately… Both an inefficient chucker and a turnover machine this season. Bizarre.

I would say it is intentional. He wants coach to be changed. They fired Jenkings just because Morant wanted so, even if the offense Jenkings brought in was much better than what Morant wants. And now Miami uses the same offense and their offense rocks. Now he tried to get current coach fired, but this time Memphis didn't fire the coach, so he does what every narcissistic person would do. Sabotage the game for whole team. He doesn't care about team success. He wants to be the team. He just ain't good enough to be the team, so Memphis tries to build a system which is build around team success. Memphis really tries to give him a change to be part of the team, but he refuses. So in the end I do think they will trade him.

Can someone explain the change in coaching philosophy...Is Ja being asked to play more off ball as opposed to the seasons under Jenkins? Or is he just straight up sandbagging to force the Grizzles hand?

If he was smart, he would roll out with like a dominant 50 point, 10 assist night, so he can say, oh I still got it, when motivated.

Right now he looks completely washed and a bad contract.
