Why omit the obvious choice?

Oh, I get it. Because you're a troll. News at 11.

Seriously though, what about beating both records and winning the title? I'm not even an OKC fan, but you should include that option so we can see how confident people are about OKC winning it all in historic fashion.
So many people who attain the heights of power in this culture—celebrities, for instance—have to make a show of false humility and modesty, as if they got as far as they did by accident and not by ego or ambition.

I want to remind everyone that warriors team had the biggest meltdown ever in NBA finals history. So I hope OKC is nothing like that.

Yes, they win 76 games. Easily win the title unless Jokic has the greatest performance in NBA history

yeah but they were also able to comeback from a 3-1 deficit.

I think ultimately the issue is about minutes and games played from our players. We will rest Chet enough, we are resting Caruso like last season and it looks like we are gonna do the same with guys like Dort. JDub only came back from injury so it's good for him to play right now. The only concern (and the bigger one) is SGA. He's playing every game. Low career MPG since his rookie season but still playing every game. Gonna need to rest him at least 10+ games.

There are always 5 games out of the year that teams somehow lose without having any business losing to.

What works in their favor is that scheduling is much easier. There are no more 5 games in 7 nights, and think they have recently made it better for most teams to not do as many scheduled loss games on back to back games traveling.

So it wouldn’t surprise me if they match or exceed the regular records. The playoffs, all it takes is one team to find your weaknesses. They barely scrape by last year with two game 7s with gimpy teams. They are the favorites this year but a lot of things can change between Dec and June.

The Warriors "meltdown" was the NBA protecting MJ's legacy while adding to LeBron's. The only way I can see OKC not beating at least one of the records and repeating is because the league believes it's bad for the narrative.

Common… the warriors had the series in the bag after being up 3-1. They just choked. Just like the Thunder who were up 3-1 vs them, and they choked. Game 7 at home. You don’t lose games like that.

I can't answer the poll because my answer of beating both and winning the title isn't an option

This is a good year for it to happen actually. It's not like last season where almost every team in the conference was competitive. There's like 5 good teams, 3 mid teams, and then the rest have losing records.

I would still say no to beating 73 wins. I think they can get to 70 wins though

Wow. I hadn't been looking at their record. Crazy that the only team that beat them so far is Portland, lol.

They start to consistently play good teams in mid January so we should have a better idea by then.
