If it was charity he would be giving them away and not making money on them. Hilarious that LeBron is getting called all the worst names in the book because he doesnt support his competition.

Gotta love how saying "we keep our standards high" is even a hatable comment. Kids are free to buy either shoe. Personally I think spending 150 on a sneaker is ridiculus and I can afford it. But that doesn't mean I'm going out looking for 15 shoes. By the way, 15 sneakers have always been available. It's not as though Marbury came up with some idea that'd help less fortunate youths. The shoes have always been available. The problem is people spending money on things just to prove that they can. That is not something that'd be solved by introducing another 15 shoe.

Out of curiosity, what other NBA stars sold shoes for $15?

Anyways, I don't see why Lebron haters keep bringing up Darfur and the Marbury comments- I also don't see why Lebron fans have such a personal investment in Lebron the person- no one is insulting his game.

If Marbury could sell shoes for as much as Lebron does, he would. Not saying he doesn't care about helping the community, but I'm not gonna proclaim him a saint for selling affordable shoes.

Really the only thing off-court I've ever had a problem with with Lebron is the whole Darfur thing. I think he could have handled it better. But at the same time I'm not gonna hate him for it. It's not like I'm doing anything to help the situation in Darfur and I bet most of the people hating on him haven't done anything either.
