Gerald Green isn't the smartest person ever

Post#1 » by Egg Nog » Sat Feb 2, 2008 2:44 am

From his NBA.com dunk blog, on the subject of dunking on a raised basket.

"I don't know, I might see if they can raise mine to 13 feet. I think 12 feet might be a little too short for me."

Could he have any less sense? Could his ego get any bigger?

The world record high touch is 13 feet, set by Doug Thomas last year. I'd love to see Gerald react when he sees what a 13 foot rim would actually look like.

I can't wait for someone to say "I bet he can do it, he has mad hopz"

Make him try do it. It will be embarrassing for him, hilarious for the rest of us.
First the federal government borrowed money; then gave the money to Bank of America; then I borrowed some of that money from Bank of America and gave it to the federal government; then the federal government gave the money back to Bank of America.

I should think that failing to recognise the sarcasm in his comment renders you more of a (Please Use More Appropriate Word) than Gerald Green.

Green is a pretty laid back guy.

Too bad he sucks at everything besides shooting and dunking.

Gerald Green might be the only player in NBA history who can dunk his IQ in feet.
