Coulda sworn there was a difference between All-Star and MVP.

All-Star/Pro Bowl/etc. -- it's all an individual thing.

Dwyane Wade is 1/5 of a horrific starting line-up. He's 1/15 of a horrific basketball roster. Stop acting like the true numbers are 5/5 and 15/15. Do you watch any Heat games (can't blame you if you don't)? He's done everything he can.... :nonono:

Lemme guess, you think Jose Calderon or Hedo Turkoglu are more of an allstar then Dwayne Wade? Or do you think it should have been Ray Allen, even though Boston already had two alltars.

Exactly.

Show me where Dwyane Wade has made a single excuse for his team's play.

So if you had to choose Joe Johnson whos on the Hawks (currently in the playoffs) whos averaging 21,4,5 or Dwyane Wade whos averaging 24,5,5 on the 9-37 Heat who do you feel is more deserving?

What about Gerald Wallace who is averaging 21 points 6 rebounds 4 assists 2 steals 1 block, 46% from te field and 46 games played on the Bobcats (who have twice as many wins)?

If 11 spots were taken and Wade, Wallace, and Johnson were left who would you pick?

Wades numbers by the way:

37 GP, 24 ppg, 4.5 rpg, 6.5 apg, 46% shooting 4.35 TO and a 9-37 record (worst in the league).
Go Knicks!

If he isnt 100% he should shut it down for the season. His team is terrible. Rest and come back the Real Dwayne Wade next season.

Let me be very clear

Wade is no longer a top 15 player in this league.

His team is the worst team in the league. His team and he are both irrelevant in the NBA.

Kobe, Lebron, Duncan would NEVER EVER have a team that has only won 9 games by february. In my opinion, this makes Wade a couple of notches below them. He is not on their level.

His 05-06 championship will always be muddied in controversy (who here REALLY thinks Dwade deserved all them calls?)

Wade should stop worrying about being in Chuck's fave five and worry about giving up his all-star slot to someone who is actually deserving.

If theres one good player on a terrible team wouldnt that make his numbers better? I mean hes putting up very good numbers but they are under his career numbers in every category other than scoring.

Bottom line is after they won the Championship, Shaq got hurt, he was handed the team, they were a .500 ball club last year before he got hurt and now they are 9-37, he has proved to me that without a healthy Shaq he cannot lead a team to victory, LeBron can do it on his own, Kobe got to the playoffs virtually on his own, if Wade were on the same level as them he would have been able to get at least 10 wins before the new year, its Feb. 5th and he has lead his team to a pathetic 9 wins.

and by the way I do watch the Heat games because they have at least one nationally televised game a week. How many have the Timberwolves had? How about the Knicks? Clippers? I will bet you combined those three teams have had less nationally televised games than the 9-37 Heat have had.

D-Wade is a top 10 and arguably a top 5 player. if you don't respect him respect his RING and Finals MVP award. There's so much hate against him and i don't get it. There has to be something more than whistles.

Again, who here thinks a hurt Kobe or a hurt Lebron lets his team only have 9 wins by february.

Simple competitive pride can will you to 10 wins.

Yeah right. NO ONE would argue he is a top 5 player.

1. Kobe
2. Lebron
3. Duncan
4. KG
5. Nash
6. Paul
7. Howard
8. Dirk
9. Yao
10. Bosh

Then you have Melo, AI, Boozer and Ginobli who also can make a very strong case. I'll give wade the 15th spot because he's a big name, but he's not even deserving of that.

Funny that you sarcastically mention Hedo whos putting up similar numbers on a much much better team.
20ppg
6.3 rpg
4.5 apg
1 spg
2.8 TO
31-19

Ill take him in the All Star game over anyone who has a 9-37 record.

Since when was it a problem for a player on a bad team to be in the allstar game?

 the fans voted him to be in so just suck it up and live with it!

Alright, we've been down this road enough.

Wade fans: The fans voted him in, he's putting up good numbers. 'Nuff said.

Wade non-fans: He doesn't deserve it.

Rinse. Repeat.
