PHX's contingency plan

Post#1 » by GIVE_WADE_THE_MAX » Thu Feb 7, 2008 1:59 am

If this does not work out with Shaq what the .. do they do?

I understand Shaq's becomes an expiring contract in 2 years from now but what if this deal becomes a nightmare.

I thought their objective was to get under the cap. That's why they were trading draft picks away correct? They basically now have 71 and 60 mil in guaranteed money for the next 2 years repectively after this one.

This really becomes an all-in situation for the Suns. Basically rolling their dice on Shaq for this season and next. Winner take all. Thats balls as they must absorb Shaq's contract for at least 1 more season after this one. I commend their all or nothing attitude but I really dont see the contingency plan.

they're a team built for the casual fans...the fans fell for all that run and gun crap and they're now saying "wow, the suns have shaq, they're going to win it all this year".

the d'antoni offense put people in the seats and that's all sarver cares about. if this was about interior defense why did they give kurt thomas away??? he plays tougher d than shaq right now...

Plan B is to fire Steve Kerr for this ridiculous trade.

This trade just aged the team and made them less talented.

Shaq is a horrible fit for an uptempo offense.
