Carter is not healthy and he's even having a better season than a healthy J-Rich

Vince Carter

20.6 ppg 5.5 rpg 5.0 apg / 44.6 fg% 79.2 ft% 32.5 3pt%

Jason Richardson

20.3 ppg 5.2 rpg 3.1 apg / 43.3 fg% 73.2 ft% 42.3 3pt%

This would make sense for the bobcats, they would have a big name in VC.

The Bobcats shouldn't do this. J-Rich has been on fire lately.

Last 20 games

Vince Carter

19.7 ppg 5.6 rpg 5.5 apg 0.8 spg 0.1 bpg 2.5 to/g

Jason Richardson

22.8 ppg 5.3 rpg 3.6 apg 1.0 spg 1.0 bpg 1.9 to/g

J_Rich has just been getting better and better this year as he has gotten comfortable. Really it was a big change for him after spending all his career in gs. Plus I only see those numbers getting better playing with J Kidd. Add to that he is younger makes less money and plays better help defense with similar man defense and it makes perfect sense as to why the Nets would do this.

What the hell are you saying ? J Rich is not better than Carter , stop dreaming boy. Carter has an injured ankle and he's still havin better numbers than J Rich. You have no clue. J Rich aint nothin close to Carter. J Rich can't dominate games. He doesnt get attention, he doesnt get double teammed, and like you said, he's havin an awesome season and still can't have better numbers than an injured Vince Carter. Vince Carter is also well known for rising up his game after the all star break.

J-Rich has played better than this before, its not like this is new. Vince has looked terrible lately, he doesn't have a constant drive and is getting old. J-Rich has never given up on a team before, even if it was a terrible, while Vince has. VC is a great player, but has not shown it since he signed the extension and I'm sure the Nets brass has noticed this.

Its obvious you have a hard on for Vince, but you have to realize that a player like him, who has relied so much on his athletic ability throughout his career, have very fast downturns in their careers as soon as they lose their athleticism at around the age of 30. If you think that he isn't going to have constant injuries for the rest of his career you're going to be surprised.

And to say J-Rich can't dominate games, you need to take your blinders off. Just because he isn't shown on national television every week doesn't mean he can't dominate a game. Vince of two years ago I would take but not the Vince of today.

you're wrong , totally wrong , you prolly don't know the capacity that Carter has. Jason Richardson is not at carter's level, He's at Richard Jefferson, and this level is not dominant, this level can't score 45 pts , This level cant make clutch shots, this level is not double teammed, this level never makes the all star games , this level is 21 ppg forever.

well you do know richard jefferson is avg more ppg than carter, hell hes top 6 in the nba in scoring.

so much for RJ being on that "level".

this thread is kind of pointless without any links, articles, information anything.....theres no sources besides a guy hearing it on fox sports.

RJ is goin down in case you havent noticed yet and Carter is raising his ppg.. RJ is the 2nd option of the Nets and will always be. RJ being the primary scorer is not working for the Nets. When carter is the primary scorer, the Nets are a much better team

I think the Bobcats would keep Richardson. They are not gonna keep trading, especially for an older player in Carter. I think Carter goes to a Mid-Playoff team or a Powerhouse if he gets traded.

Madsen > VC at this moment... VC is declinding and he just got his fat contract!!! Madsen has been consistent his whole career...

Oh please.l Are you the only guy that doesn't realize Vince is on a serious downward swing? His soft as puddin' reputation has been well earned. I don't think you actually watch the Nets or have any idea how ineffective Carter has actually been this year. his production has been way sub par and his lack of effort has been more than manifest.

The Cat's don't even take this call, never mind serious discussion.
