i thought peterson with the hornets would have a bigger impact
Dwight Howard on his FT struggles:

Spurs Udoka definitely deserves consideration. He has come on strong in the past few weeks.

ray ray has had clutch moments and is a threat.

peja in a way is making his debut for the hornets after being out most of last year, and he's been amazing lately.

Guys, we're talking about free agent pickups, not traded players.

I'd say Fisher has been the best and has had more impact than Posey on their respective teams. He's having the best season of his career adding leadership and stability.

Near 13 points on 47% from the field, 43% from three and doesn't turn the ball over that much with just a little over 1 per game.

Rashard Lewis has to be one of the worst.

All he does is shoot 3's and nothing, and he disappears for long periods of times in games. He only averages 18 Points and 5 rebounds. We could've gotten Kapono to do what he does. without Hedo playing All-Star like. We would be way under 500. He really makes Rashard look good.

Francis was not a bad pickup. It was a low risk, medium reward type of move. The Rockets got him for cheap (1 year, 3 mil) and there was some real potential for him to give them a much needed boost at point guard. Unfortunately he caught the Bonzi Wells '06-07 bug - showed up out of shape, and ultimately injury shut him down.

A far worse pickup was Mike James -- one year ago it would've been a preposterous notion to suggest that a Mike James for Juwan Howard swap would actually make the team worse, but that's what happened. Mike James has been a complete and utter bust this season. :(

Orlando has a winning percentage above 60% with the 3rd best record in the East. Last year they were under .500 without Lewis. One can argue that Howard's improved play is in part due to opposing defenses having to guard Lewis, giving Howard more room in the paint and thus improve his his play.

Sure, Lewis is overpaid and he's definitely no Kobe or Lebron, but he has pretty well done what was expected and the Magics' record reflects that.

Dallas' off season signings (Howard and Jones) and their trade for Hassell have produced nothing for them.

Resigning luke walton and Chris mihm didnt turn out so well, they might have been hampered by injuries all season while playing horribly.

Relative to how much he gets paid it has to be Rashard.

Orlando are essentially paying him 20 million per season to lose to the Celtics/Pistons.
