Dallas is not goign anywhere if they don't have a legit big guy or a defensive specialist...

He turns it over less per game and per minute than Jason Kidd, Deron Williams, and Steve Nash.

^ The article in your signature sucks hardcore ^

Not once did it mention that Kidd would give the Mavericks a player who doesn't fold under pressure.

 Can't face the facts!!!!!!!!!

Harris does not fold under pressure. That would be Dirk and Terry.

Dirk folding under pressure is a myth IMO. He has had bad runs in the playoffs for the past 2 years - before that he was one of the most clutch players i've ever seen in the playoffs. Year in and year out he was a monster. Don't let the Golden State/Miami series skew your memory.

Despite the fact the Mavericks aren't my favorite team I was born and raised in Dallas. Dirk has accomplished much more than anything Harris/Terry have in the playoffs. It's an insult to him that you'd actually point to Harris as being a better player than him under pressure. WTF have they done in comparison to Dirk?

Maybe Harris doesn't fold , but can he lead the team through tough stretches in the Playoffs ?

I don't see anyone on the Mavs who'll stand up take over as a vocal leader in tough streches .

I guess we will have to see as this is his 1st year starting as PG. Kidd is an all time great and no one is taking that away from him, but I still would not trade Harris as 4 of the min 16 mil to match Kidd's 20 mil.

I would be very open to a 3-way where Jason T goes to Miami and Jason W goes to NJ and Jason K going to Dallas with Dallas finding ways to match the other 8 mil.

And etopn23, I'm not saying that Devin is better at his position that Dirk or Howard, but I am saying that the PG plays a bigger role than the other positions and without Harris, we are only 6-6 (lotto bound at that %) and we are 28-11 with him as our 1st year starting PG (last year starts was at SG).

To stockpile PG's in NJ and leave Dallas with J.J Barea as starter with no backup ? Great Idea .
