The boo's for Vince were just as fresh since the first minute the play-offs started till the last. Because of the amount of foreign players, the atmosphere in the ACC is about as close as you can get to a European soccer game.

I mean, drums, loud cheers and taunting and;

"Jooose, jooose, jose, jose, joooose, jooooose" (Crowd's rendition of "Ole")

The drop in atmosphere when the series came to Jersey was frightening.

People give Golden State fans a lot of hype for that first round (deservedly too. The Mavs were kittens in that arena) but the ACC has some flavour.

But in general, I'd go with Utah, or Golden State (of this year and last years play offs. They have taken it to another level recently.)

if you think Vince has a tough time in Toronto, just ask JKidd about those playoffs a couple years ago. "WIFEBEATERRRRR, WIFEBEATERRRR"

It was bonkers in the ACC.

Loud. Just plain loud. If the Raps could have gone back for game 7, the ACC would have exploded.

Has to BE the Golden State. Watching their games on tv looks like i'm watching an NCAA team in the tournament. Their fans get rowdier than drunken college students. You can't beat that.

Easily the Jazz. The amount of whining and crying from fans in here about how mean the Jazz were to poor Derrick Fisher should cement that choice.

White trashness.

I guess I'll just sit down silently like the rest of you so I can "enjoy the game".

Idiots.

Some people like to watch games in the seat they paid for w/o some jerkoff standing in front of them. I just stuck up for Sunts fans (vomits). But you standers need to be kicked down the aisle.

Assuming this is a big game crowd, as Detroit's fans take a cue from the team and half ass it in the regular season, and New York hasn't been in a real big game since what 99?

Utah
Golden State
Detroit
New York
Sacramento (more cowbell!)

Are my top five

New York Knicks fans are like Toronto Maple Leaf fans.

Their teams sucks, but they still pack up the stadiums and spend on merchandise.

Oh for sure, but I thought we meant hostile toward the opposing team. Fire Isiah chants don't really intimidate the visitors. 8)

Ouch. I don't know how Jazz fans will recover from that stinging barb. Truly devestating.

From what I saw on TV the Oracle Arena was quite "euro" during the GSW-Mavs serie.

But Toronto was on the top too against the Nets.

I remember years ago how loudly were Dallas and Sacramento.

Pistons's fan seem to be quite hostile and "euro" too.

BTW I don't think that any NBA arena can match the colors, choirs, thrumpets, clapers etc of an european arena

It's mostly because of pricing out the blue collar fans, Detroit in 04 was insane because the tickets were still so cheap since prices weren't adjusted following the Sheed deal.
