Dunk contest 1997

Post#1 » by Ryoga Hibiki » Sun Feb 17, 2008 9:59 am

This is not a Kobe hate thread, but wasn't this a bit lame?
The DC really improved over the years, didn't it?

i liked the two handed from bottom to top reverse dunk. But the between the the legs was generic, Rider did it once before.

Kobe was just 18years of age at that time, the youngest SDC champ.. it would be nice if Kobe had went back to SDC at the peak of his athletic ability at age 26 when he had 43+ inch vertical.

Most dunk contests are lame. There just happen to be a few (88 and 2000) that are amazing.

I agree, but usually you see the winner coming out with at least a couple of decent dunks.
The one gave Kobe the win has been replicated so many times, when Nate Robinson did the same thing he got even less points!

That was the Greatest Dunk Contest of All Time. The vision, the creativity, the gentleness of spirit, Kobe Bryant has it all.

Why is your sig knocking Dwyane Wade? Out of that whole list he's the only one with the Chip.

When you have Allen and Sura in a dunk contest, you know it's gonna be lame.

I loved Bob Sura as a player, but he's not really a dunk contest type of player.
