You make these obtuse points just for the sake of attempting to belittle the Hornets (or their players). Come with a legitimate point or don't come at all.

You can't read. I said if the Hornets lose any ONE of their starters they wouldn't be able to sustain their record. Get some comprehension.

If the Jazz lost Boozer they have Milsap. If they lost Deron they have Price. If they lost AK they could plug in Harpring or CJ Miles or Korver.

Who does the Hornets have to replace Chandler? Hilton. Who could replace West? Melvin Ely. Who replaces Peja? Ryan Bowen.

C'mon and be real; you just being stubborn and not admitting that the Hornet bench is a weakness and will be exposed in the playoffs. It's so obvious you have no answer when you don't even address it.........

Yeah, I'm sure the Jazz would coast to WCF with Ronnie Price running the show.

Or that Millsap could step in and give you that inside-out 20/10 no problem.

Get real.

are you for real? any team that loses all stars like paul and west, a guy playing like one in chandler and a guy playing like one since the beginning of the year like peja, they will struggle.

all 4 guys going down? yeah right. even if some are hurt, so what? they had massive injuries last year and missed the playoffs by 3 games.

yeah, with the best record in the west after 50 games and at 21 games over .500, they are going to somehow miss the playoffs! lol.

take dwill out of the lineup or take boozer out, that team is in trouble too, just like any team losing a few all stars...your point is?

our bench has not been an issue for over a month now. but since you don't watch the hornets, you wouldn't know that. every starter has missed games. we never went on a big losing streak because of it.

I think the Jazz could decently handle an injury to any of our starters cept Deron. 2Poor, you underrate Millsap, guy has been fantastic whenever he gets starter minutes, he may not score like Boozer does, but he plays MUCH better defense.

However, the Hornets, not so much, the bench is pretty weak.

Blatant homerism to suggest that Millsap could easily replace Boozer's production in the playoffs.

Figures that you'd slight West in one post, and then heavily overrate your guy in the next.

David West deserved it, although being on New Orleans helped him a little... the NBA does tend to reward teams with good records...

And this is not a Utah vs New Orleans, CP3 vs Deron thread lol..... there are already enough of those..

I'm glad you put it like this so we can put up the numbers and end this:

Hornets depth chart
http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/teams/nor/d ... 6Xfvt30bYF

David West (starter) 19.8 ppg, 9.2 reb's

Julian Wright (backup) 2.0 ppg, 2.8 reb's

or

Melvin Ely (backup) 4.3 ppg, 3.1 reb's

Tyson Chandler (starter) 12.1 ppg, 12.5 reb's

Hilton Armstrong (backup) 3.0 ppg, 2.5 reb's

Peja Stojakovic (starter)16.3 ppg, 4.0 reb's, 3ptrs made per game 3.0

Rasual Butler (backup) 5.4 ppg, 2.2 reb's, 3ptrs made per game .9

compared to

Utahs depth chart

http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/teams/uth/depthchart

Carlos Boozer (starter) 21.7 ppg, 10.8 reb's

Paul Milsap (backup) 8.1 ppg , 5.7 reb's

Andrei Kirilenko (starter) 11.8 ppg, 5.4 reb's, 4.5 assts, 1.8 blks

Kyle Korver (backup) 10.8 ppg, 2.3 reb's, 1.4 assts, .5 blks

Ronnie Brewer (starter) 11.9 ppg, 2.9 reb's, 2.0 stls

CJ Miles (backup) 5.0 ppg, 1.3 reb's, .6 stls

It's not even close; there is a huge gap in talent between the Hornets starters and their backups. At just about every position for the Hornets........

I think the Hornets will make it to the 2nd round... But I have to agree with G35.. Every other Western Conference playoff team would be able to handle an injury/foul trouble better than the Hornets
