or they could do it like they do in baseball. where if west wins, then wester conference finals team gets the homecourt adavantage and vice versa. that's the best idea imo.

Losing team has to walk around the perimeter of the court with their shorts around their ankles.

Losing team has to ride a Greyhound bus home sitting in between a 400 lb man on one side and a woman with a crying baby on the other.

It would be really easy to motivate players. The only problem is I would imagine they'd have a tough time getting these ideas in as part of the next CBA.

i'd honestly rather watch them play school yard tackle football or school yard baseball than watch the NBA all-star game.

Did u guys see that Yao take a 20 minute nap at the end of the bench in the 2nd half. I think during the All-star game was when he was able to get some rest.

The losing team should get some kind of punishment. Something embarrassing enough to make them play seriously.

Or just make the game count. Whoever wins the whole conference playoff teams get +1 in the win column and the lottery teams get +1 losses at the end of the regular season. This will also make fans vote seriously, well, at least for their conference.
