I thought they were god awful and really confusing too. It took me about a quarter before I realized that the East actually had SILVER backed uniforms (of course the silver looked like white since it was shiny).

he just needs to turn his jersey around

Give a 3-year-old several different color paint buckets, a blank jersey, and it could do better.

as much as those jerseys were confusing as hell, for the players i dont think they were as confusing. It depends on the angle you look at them.

The way the camera was angled during the game allowed you to see the back and front of the jerseys, which made the jerseys seem incredibly confusing. But for the players they had a view from ground level so they saw either blue or white jerseys. (or white and gold)

Then again if they were running on transition, the white team might get confused when the opposing team has a white jersey from the back...sorta confusing!

i give them credit tho, they tried to make the jersey's a little more creative this year

I don't. And alot of people agreed. They used to have special All-Star jerseys and I think they stopped them in 97 or 98 which pissed alot of fans off just like myself and some of the players. They brought them back and I think it was a great idea.

I like how you refer to a 3-year-old as "it".

And I thought I was the only one who couldn't figure out who's who. Terrible jerseys, but I think I will buy one as a souvenir.

By themselves, I thought they were more attractive than most of the All-Star jerseys of the past (one with a cactus on it comes to mind...), but yes, the confusion created by the white front vs. white back was a truly stupid wardrobe malfunction.

who ever came up with those jersey's should be fired. Pure stupidity, making the game 10x more difficult to watch than it should have been.

Home white versus dark road, too hard a concept to grasp apparently.

If you see them in person, they are pretty nice. I had no problem with them at all.

:D . I got used to them.

Remember, ASG is an exhibition, it's for fun, a pure show. It's not a serious affair, and after a while I realized the unis added to the fun element.
