Lol what is Paul, The Continuous Improvement?

But I agree!

If it was East vs West starters with healthy player and slightly different starting 5:

West:
PG: Chris Paul
SG: Tracy McGrady
SF: Kobe Bryant
PF: Duncan
C: Yao

vs.

East:
PG: Kidd
SG: Wade
SF: Lebron
PF: KG
C: Dwight Howard

Then I would take The West, AI and Melo completely hurt the Chemistry!

How can that be after tonights performance? Kobe played 2 minutes, Carmello didn't pass, Duncan and Yao didn't take it seriously.

Paul and Roy were the only two who really played outstanding for the west

its an all star game. but place some serious concentration of coaching in it, no way the east handles the tandem of duncan and yao on the inside.

kobe would do the rest by himself.

Why would AI start at point over Nash or Paul if this was a real game? That doesn't make a bit of sense. AI would come off the bench for Kobe at the 2.

East hands down.

Melo and AI are to selfish to be on an all around team. Melo would only score as many points as the number of shots he takes.

How would the defense be for both sides?

Defensive Rebounding I would give to the East because with KG, Howard, and Kidd there wont be any rebounds left to be had.

I think team defense for the West would be better than that of the East though. Plus if Kidd penetrated inside you just play all the passing lanes because his FG% is horrible (36%... srsly?)

Since this is a fantasy game that will never happen... lets use fantasy stats.

PTS: West +17
3PM: Even
REB: East +8
AST: East +8
STL: East +1
BLK: East +1
FG%: East +1.8%
FT%: West +11.2%

With a few different players in the line up most of this could change. These original line ups were decided on by the fans and doesn't make for the best teams.

i think it'd be a close game everytime but the difference is in the final minute - last night the West didn't have an explosive 1 on 1 beat you off the dribble finisher on the court - theirs was sitting on the bench (Kobe).

meanwhile LeBron and Wade both took the ball and drove to the bucket and came up with huge baskets to put the game away.

Duncan & Yao are not this type of player.

The 3 best finishers in this game currently are Kobe, Lebron and Wade.

whoa realgm is full of homers and people who can't think for themselves. If someone says Chris Paul played better, the clueless people after say that he did. Grow some cajones and think for yourselves. What I find funny is that kobe only played 3 minutes and you think if he played the whole game even with ballhog melo and undeserving starter iverson that they would have lost?

even if it kills me: Kobe>>>>Lebron
end of discussion. Just because Lebron gets his **** sucked more by the league doesn't mean he's better. Ray Allen deserved that MVP. he was the MOST VALUABLE PLAYER to his team. He won the game for them.

I do think Paul played great but i think he tried harder than anyone on the court except Roy, Melo, and Lebron. Everyone knew it was for fun. I mean the starters in the West played less than the reserves. I dont even know why David West was in the game. B Diddy got snubbed he would have made the game more exciting. D West in one sequence got blocked 3 times in a row....get a clue and pass the ball.

Screw iverson i guess. He's not good enough to start in front of steve nash and Paul. I guess Byron Scott thought so too...

Guys, you are forgetting that Yao and Duncan are no streetballers at all, rather anti-streetballers, so the East would win. ;-)

West wins even though they have Carmelo playing worse defense than the South during the Civil War.

You can't be serious? He's THAT much better than K.G.?
