kobe isn't 100% but hes still playing. Risk he might not play this season if it gets reinjured but thats still the same risk of anyone else getting an injury before playoffs and changing the picture.

The Suns have beaten the Lakers 2 years in a row

Now, I'm not saying the same will happen this year, the Lakers are better than ever, but until they actually beat the Suns in the playoffs, you can't criticize people for picking the Suns over the Lakeshow.
with that logic the Suns will never win a championship.

carefully read what I said again.

Some poster picked the Suns over the Lakers, and others were like OMGz suns over laker????

And I said you can't really criticize or bash someone for picking the Suns over the Lakers, when the Suns have beat them 2 years in a row now.

LABallaz08 wrote:In the 2 games this season where the Lakers had Bynum... They beat the Suns pretty easily. Now I realize that the dynamics have changed, (Bynums health, Pau Gasol, Shaq) but I think the odds weigh pretty heavily in the Lakers favor. Not only should Bynum be healthy come playoff time, Pau Gasol has been even better than people expected. And who knows how Shaq is gonna play in Phoenix's offense.

That's terrible logic. Several examples for you.

October 31, 2006 Lakers 114, Suns 106, without Kobe.

November 25, 2005 Dallas 103, Miami 90
February 9, 2006 Dallas 112, Miami 76

Detroit beat Cleveland 3 of 4 times during the regular season last year.

We know how these playoffs turned out.
