Durant and Green plus say Rose or Beasley will be great.
Big Al will be as close as a superstar as you're gonna get in this league; add a matured Brewer, Foye, and a top 3 or 4 pick in this draft and they could be really good.

sonics maybe, T'Wolves not a chance since McHale can do no wrong to get fired apparently.

Phoenix will have the core of Nash / Bell / Hill / STAT / SHAQ together for the next two years. Barbosa and Diaw are wrapped up for a while now.

In two years Nash, Bell, Hill and Shaq come off the books. Same time CP3, DWil, Lebron, DWade etc.......become free agents.

We will have Amare, Barbosa, and Diaw which is three solid players. Add to that any of the above free agent names and we will be right back knocking the Lakers around again.

Sign Nash for the vet. min to let him retire a Sun. He can back up CP3.

.

They have the 2nd most talented young roster in the entire NBA.
Best in the Eastern Conference.

Unless you assume they won't re-sign the core, they should not be below a top 5 list if you're talking 5 years down the road

Livingston is done. His skinny ass aint coming back from that type of injury.

Kaman/Brand is good, but Kaman is less effective with Brand on the court. Good chance Brand bails after next season, probably not opt out though.

Thorton is nice, not sure why youdidn't mention him.

Maggette doesn't play any defense, low bb iq. Nothing special.

the heat

Next Jordan/Pippen!

bobcats

Thats if Okafor stays. And i doubt they have 20 million cap space if they pay Okafor to stay. That team suck right now, in the Eastern conference. Doubt they get much better without out some dramatic changes.

Some of your statements are so contractiding it hard to fathom. Lets start with your Lakers line- How can you give a solid 2 after saying you never know how things will work out? Especially when you have already clarified that this team has never played as a team yet, is injury prone, and have huge contracts to deal with?

How can you call Atlanta "another great young team"? what is great about them?

Yes New Orleans is a young team but they lack bench depth so they won't go anywhere in the playoffs as it stands now.

Using the same logic Utah and Orlando should be way above Atlanta.

WHY AREN'T MY LAKERS FIRST?! RAAAAAAAAAAAAGE!
