Appreciation thread for NBA GMs

Post#1 » by Sports Arsenal » Thu Feb 21, 2008 3:55 am

I thought the NBA GMs who made good moves to either bolster their team into more of a contender or moved them forward in their current plans for their franchises.
Hopefully my GM will make this list by tommorow, just to show faith Ill start by saying

"Thank You Morey the moves you made in the offseason either were great or even looked like no-brainers to even the experts on this website" ;), Now give us that little edge sir. "

Now tell your GM you appreciate him and if you don't have anything nice to say lets not say anything at all.....

I've been very impressed by the boldness of moves made as we approach this year's trade deadline.

Usually it's pretty quiet. But the Lakers getting Gasol really set off a chain reaction of teams trying to keep up.

Good to see teams doing what it takes to win.

thank you RC. for general managing a championship team that isnt deep into a luxury tax, bringing great players who arent only great on court, but off court, for being so dedicated to our future by never stopping with your brilliant scouting.

Thank you Larry for listening to Herb Kohl on everything you do and for promising the fans that the Bucks would make the playoffs.

Nets don't have one...at least not one with the official title.

Rod Thorn is Nets President. Kiki is Special Assistant to the President (he has all of the GM powers, but nothing gets moved with Thorn's approval).
