If this is even remotely true.. Please keep him out of the West. We're too crowded over here. It's starting to get plain ridiculous.

The realistic teams I want Vince to end up with would be Cleveland, Orlando, and Houston. I don't really see any other team in the West making a play for Vince besides Houston. But damn that would be bomb to see Vince/Mac/Yao.

Orlando said all kinds of nasty things about Vince being a girly man over the summer when there were all those rumours about him going there as a free agent, I really doubt he ends up there.

We got Jason Kidd because Thorn convinced some idiot Stephon Marbury might be worth the same . And we got real value back .

He's not going to sell low not in any case , he's extremly patient .

Only if he wants to trade him now at any cost and i don't think so , if he doesn't like the offers he'll wait maybe Vince starts to play better and gets more value again . His value can't get much lower .

Would the Jazz have any interest in Vince?

Why not? Its the perfect role for him. I think he would compliment LeBron perfectly. But my main question is how would Cavs acquire him if they even wanted to?

The rumor flying around is Larry Hughes for Vince Carter straight up, but Cleveland's pushing for NJ to include a first rounder. I am kind of terrified of such a trade, not only because of Carter's past, but Hughes is actually playing well as of late. But Vince at SG would **** over even Hughes' most productive nights. I'm so conflicted haha

Please tell me you forgot the green font....

Because there isn't a chance in hell that is real. No one would swap Vince for Hughes straight up, let alone add a first.

LOL. Nope. Well it does sound crazy at first, but Carter's contract is longer than Hughes' and apparently the Cavs would probably swap that pick as part of another deal for most likely a PG. If NJ is gonna clean house, they gotta find someone to take Carter :P Rumors are rumors. I guess it's just better to go to sleep and wait till morning eh?

Wow, well when Thorn decides he has to do something, he really goes full bore. Paying attention Isiah?

Cleveland should jump on this trade and not worry about a 1st rounder. Larry Hughes has been consistently bad for them. VC, while i think he's overrated, will be good for a CONSISTENT 20+ scoring night. Just need to make sure he keeps shooting a good FG percentage.

Update: sounds like nets fans can rest easy. Carter sounds like he won't be traded, much less traded for Hughes. The next logical player that would fit the rumor would be a Redd/ Kirilenko/ Arenas :-? Gotta love the trade deadline haha
