If this is because of Bonzi and Mike James you got another thing coming. Seriously..just b/c some Rocket fans don't like the deal doesn't mean its a good deal for the Hornets. Doesn't mean you stole Bonzi from us. There is a reason we traded them and its more than a salary dump.

No idea who the OP is, not any Hornets fan I know.

Most [sane] Hornets fans are content taking a "wait and see" approach. You won't find anyone making such ostentatious statements about their future.

edit: judging by his post history, OP is a Mavs fan who probably saw NOLA dominate Dallas last night.

Yeah, because they give them away.

James and Wells send them over top?

Please.

Great squad fueled by a sensational player (Paul), but how in the hell do they stand any chance going against the experience of other teams in the West? That team needs further more depth, and more growth... and probably another sg/sf all-star.

They have a slim chance going all the way if things go wrong for the other beasts of the west, but it's going to be a tight battle between Phoenix, LA and San Antonio.. with Dallas, Houston, Utah, Denver and NO putting up really strong fights.

The only thing that's guaranteed right now is that one of the playoff teams in the west is going to play Detroit, Boston, or Cleveland.

Fair enough. I guess you can see from a non-hornets fans that if a poster who is either a Hornet fan or a rogue poster saying terms like " book it" will get such responses as this thread has seen.

According to Hollinger's rankings, yes they have. We'll see how they finish up February (which is pretty tough), I'd almost put money on them not being in the first seed after this month is over.

They have the second toughest SOS for the remainder, behind Phoenix. I think the Suns are at like .547 and the Hornets around .511.

Fri v Houston, Sat @ San Antonio

...seems like they always play SA on the second of back-to-backs

:-?
