Nah, its all strategy. You disrupt the flow of the shooting player a bit by not letting him sink it.

LOL that video is so random to me for some reason. The music playing... Allen Iverson taking a shot long after the foul... Dwight blocks it... Iverson throws it up... makes the bucket and walks away like it was nothing. And then the late crowd reaction. All of that while the commentators are focused on talking about something else.

What's so great about the video? It seems like Dwight barely jumps and blocks a ball that isn't incredibly high up. I thought the only "amazing" thing about the video was Iverson's 2nd rainbow attempt that actually went in. Am I missing something?

Yes, a sense of wonderment.

For years, Garnett did that in nearly every game. Been happening since at least the MVP season if not before.

A couple years ago I was reading an interview which questioned why Garnett would block the ball even after the whistle is called. He said he didn't want to give anyone anything easy, they'll have to work for it even if the basket should count or not. Can't really confirm if he was the one that started it, but I do recall Garnett being one of the first ones to do this.

I think it's great because AI's shot makes it look like he's saying "Get this shot sucka"
