I dig the DAL-SA matchup with Avery & Elie being ex Spurs and Finley being a former Mav.
Where the offseason has more buzz happens.

Lakers vs. Spurs is the rivalry I'm most looking forward to..this was great in the early 2000's..LA has owned us in the past, but I remember how happy I was when we beat them in 2003..I have NO DOUBT that these will be the 2 teams in the conference finals, and the 2 best teams in the West(no disrespect to Phoenix or Dallas or NO)..I can't wait for this one..

honestly, I can't wait for the conference finals in both conferences..a potential Pistons vs. Celtics and Lakers vs. Spurs final 4 would be great for me..

A week ago you didn't expect the Lakers to make it out the first round.

Paul has never played very well against the Jazz, and Deron has always played well against the Hornets. I hope that Paul makes the head to head matchups more of a rivalry.

kobe/raja and the whole suns/lakers rivalry.

the knicks/celtics had a little thing going in the preseason where the knicks won probably the most heated preseason game i've ever seen. then q-brick called out the celtics and subsequently helped the knicks lose by 45...rivalry over.

seem likes sonics/blazers were going to have something going with oden/durant but that will probably be broken up a bit with the sonics moving to OK soon.

knicks/nets rivalry should get a lot better in a couple years when the nets move to brooklyn.

Interesting that nobody mentioned: Cavs vs Pistons, LeBron vs Pierce.

I'm surprised nobody thought about VC and the Raptors, this is a major one.
I think LAL-PHO is getting close to a good rivarly and the LAL-BOS is gonna reborn soon.

Homer pick: Pau vs KG, since Pau arrived in the NBA all the games between the two have been quite intense, I can remember a lot of Pau's great games against the Wolves.

One to watch for:
Warriors vs. Blazers, Baron is probably still pissed at Roy for stealing his All-Star spot, and the Warriors are mad at the Blazers for stealing their ESPN/media attention during their win streak. Meanwhile, the Blazers are upset that the Warriors have stolen most of that back, along with their playoff spot.

iki4life wrote:garnett vs duncan-this is a classic.

kobe vs wade- cuz i kno for a fact that wade hates on kobe and tries to get a highlight reel on him (dunk/block/etc) and gets denied.

carmelo vs lebron- the same class, and 2 best individuals from that class.

paul vs deron- the 2 upcoming pg's.

dwight vs bynum- this is gona be a good one in the years to come.

shaq vs yao- it was all shaq, now yao's the best C in the game.

Hey, they both make eachother look bad at times.. http://youtube.com/watch?v=6DDKooGA1kA

I personally love watching Heat-Cavs games because Wade and LeBron always show up big. Those games seem more personal to both of them as players.

I also like watching Piston-Heat games. Always seem like they come down to the last minute.
