you forgot about dallas...

I really hope to see Dallas slip the the 8th spot and have them play the Lakers first round. I only see Dallas/San Antonio as the only teams to knock them out.

That is unless some other team pulls some Gasol bs like a trade of brent barry for a dwight howard type BS.

This would be the greatest 1st round ever:

1 v 8
LA v Dallas
2 v 7
San Antoino v Phx
3 v 6
NOR v Golden State
4 v 5
Utah vs. Den/Hou

Not really, when Utah plays in Dallas, it goes down to the wire, and usually Terry or Howard go off... Dallas get blown out by the Jazz at home whenever they come. Remember they have certain matchup problems playing with the Jazz. Mavs for the Jazz are as difficult to beat as Houston with Yao Ming is for utah.

It's not just you. And, I haven't bought them since 05. They don't have the make-up of a championship-caliber team. They haven't improved nearly enough on their weaker areas since 2005. Since 06-07, they've gotten lesser and lesser in one of their strengths in 3PT shooting. Being most evident this whole season.

Detroit vs Phoenix (Phoenix in 6)

Detroit would beat Phoenix in 5 games.

Detroit's too tough, too balanced, too flexible, too experienced, too deep for Phoenix. Phoenix's defense hasn't, isn't, and won't be at a playoff level. Their offense isn't diverse enough for the playoffs. Unless Shaq amazingly returns to 2006 form
