I kinda do hate the spurs, and have for a while. I say it is partially because of Manu and Bowen, and partially because their is a "tragic inevitability" factor when playing against them. Meaning, that they are always so good, never panic, and are so resilient, that you are never comfortable with a lead until your team has actually won the game.

When a team is so good, and have an obvious advantage over most of their opponents, the game becomes un-interesting and is not exciting.

they are very good. damn good, but they still haven't flipped the switch like they have in previous years. they normally start dominating after the ASB, but this year they're winning but just kinda squeeking by.

still its hard to argue against duncan, manu, and parker

spurs scouting staff works 24/7 365 days to ensure that we draft the best prospects. how you any claim they got lucky if they consistently draft late in rounds. if anything, its a shame on other scouts.

some people pointed this out already but its important to keep in mind that duncan ginobili parker have all missed games this season and were just beginning to get heathly.
Manu Ginobili:

* Italian League Championship: 2001
* Italian Cup: 2001, 2002
* Euroleague: 2001
* Americas Championship: 2001
* NBA Championship: 2003, 2005, 2007
* Summer Olympic Games gold medal: 2004

We're going to find out how good they really are in the post season. I don't believe they've ever went through a Western Conference quite as stacked as this one. A lot of teams match up pretty well with them. Duncan's going to have to put together his best post season performance to date to get the Spurs back to the promised land, where they would inevitably roll whoever comes out of the East. My money was, and is still on them to take the crown. They are one of only 2 teams in the league I feel have three legit great players. The other is Boston, but SA's big 3 is accompanied by some of the best roleplayers in the game, and they have a first ballot hall of fame coach to boot. I like them to go all the way.

I LOVE the Spurs, arguably the most exciting team in the league.. but I hate the Spurs forum because nobody ever posts there..

I have no feelings for this team one way or another. I don't hate them and I don't like them. Coincidentally that is also how I feel about unseasoned chicken or watching paint dry.

I hated them before but now I respect the hell out of them. Great management, positive role models(Tim Duncan, Manu ginobili), great coach, team mentality as in everyone knows their role and never complain.

I'd love it if my team were anything like them.

Of the top teams they're the most boring team to watch in my opinion. I question whether the combined team has one personality between them.
It's not just a coincidence that the Spurs have been involved in the two lowest rated Finals.

I don't hate them, I just don't like watching them.
