Harrison should not be in the league. He's an awful rebounder for his size (Andrea Bargnani is out-rebounding him by percentage), the most prolific fouler of any regular in the league, and has the intelligence of a used diaper.

Sadly, his size and age (only 25, though he looks 50...sleeping on the streets will do that to you) all but guarantee him at least the league minimum next season.

Ironically, I think one of the knocks on him coming out of college was that he lacked toughness. Do death threats count?

The Knicks will sign David Harrison. Book it.

Ever seen Judgment at Nuremberg? That extremely uncomfortable scene with Montgomery Clift, talking about the test the Nazis gave you which, if you failed, meant you were automatically sterilized? 'Make a using the words 'hare, hunter, and field'?

If the NBA were a Nazi war crimes movie, I think the quoted part would be the standard.

48/39/84 shooting - all career highs by far. Stat padders, which is what you're ignorantly suggesting Dunleavy is, get their numbers via shot volume. Dunleavy is getting his numbers via efficiency. A huge difference. He's taking a whopping 13 shots a game.

Good point. He can't be stat-padding because his rebounds and steals are down from last year.

I don't buy this sudden Dunleavy renaissance. He still can't play defence and I don't see him getting any better. The Pacers desperately need cap room (witness the old adage, "if you're going to suck, suck $25M under the cap"). At this point, I think if you can use Dunleavy to dump someone else, you do it without thinking. Hell, maybe Dunleavy for an expiring and a mid-first is okay. The important thing is paring payroll right now and Dunleavy isn't helping the situation.

Oh, and you guys might want to trade Foster while you can still get something for him.

As for Harrison, the RealGM headline said he "erupted" after the game - how about he starts erupting for some rebounds? I'd like to see if a Riley-type could get his ass in order but if not, yeah, send him to Home Depot or something, I bet he could reach tall things.

Pfft, you are all hypocrites. Who here, can honestly say, they have not threatened to kill Matt Bonner at one time or another?

Who remembers the Pacers' mod who (as recently as the beginning of last year IIRC) was touting Harrison as a better player than Dwight Howard?

Perhaps... but Harrison was sure as hell no David Lee.
2006-2007:
Howard PER: 21.1
Lee PER: 20.2
Harrison PER: 7.0

That's Darko territory.
Edit: Excuse me, that's much worse than Darko's been in the last 4 years.

every time i see that dude, i want someone to tell him to take a shower or just cut it.

i don't know why he makes it look so disgusting. the other dudes with long hair have nice cuts, but his looks like some sort of mullet.

dear god, someone save him. i hear a lot of the rocket players are good buddies, at least they say it during every interview on espn, so why not tell the dude he looks stupid and dirty.

at least scola is helping his team win. i'll give him that.

but that hair. :wavefinger:
