I have his injury - subluxation of the patella. It's a painful inury and it will come back if you don't treat it. I've subluxated my knee probably 10 times over the course of around 8 years. Like all dislocations, they are something that will occur again if not treated properly. Knee subluxation occurs becuase of the way some people's ligaments are aligned or because of some kind of muscular imbalance. I'm not sure if he had this same injury in high school, but he did injure his knee in high school before. They should give him all the time he needs to recover. Remember, Nick Collison had shoulder subluxation and he was out for the whole season.

How will I be able to continue on with my life?

You will be able to continue if you keep worrying about what the Lakers are doing with their players. That's the only way you will have any peace......
I'm so tired of the typical......

Lakers need him more for defense and rebounding in the playoffs. Gasol and Bynum together defensively could be very difficult.
