All European men seem gay in comparison to American men.
It's a cultural thing.
See European men do gay things like wear open shirts and grease their hair, while American men do manly, straight things like take about who is gay and watch professional wrestling.
There's nothing straighter than a bunch of guys talking about which men like to have sex with other men.

I guess the question now is, would you still follow your favourite players, if they turned out to be gay? ... Meaning would you still openly support them as your favourite player, maybe even continue to sport their jersey ... To me it's the same concept as a player being a thug or a drug-addict off the court, I could care less, all that matters is that they're not stinking it up on the court ...

Yeah, but Spanish men also often speak with lisps and are known to shamelessly display a limp wrist.
By contrast, American men keep their wrists entirely straight while discussing which men are gay and watching professional wrestling.

I really think it's pretty sad how quick mods are to lock up most topics that insult players, but they allow this one to go on for 6 pages. Pretty pathetic, really. You can't talk about the best white basketball players without it seeming offensive, but everyone can speculate on who's gay? Good job mods. And I'm happily married, so feel free to mock all you want, and judge, I just think it shows a pathetic double standard set by some of the mods here. Ah well, I guess gay jokes are cool, as long as race isn't involved.
