So you mean Cleveland didn't try to win against us? In that case, we also didn't try to win. We just won.

I don't agree with them Cleveland sucks. They've been garbage since the trade and I don't see them getting it together in time for the playoffs. Just telling you what people think.

Finally a good post by a Wiz fan =) most of the other post have been garbage. I'm fine with saying the Magic aren't good enough to say they can sweep any team they play in the 1st round. But I do like our chances against any team in the east sans detriot.

Don't call me a Wiz fan dude ....

What's the point of arguing if the Raps will beat the Magic in the first round when we probably won't even be playing them. With Bosh back and a really easy schedule to end the year Toronto will most likely hold onto the 5th spot. I havn't seen much mention of Philly which is odd considering they have a good chance of ending up as the 6th seed too.

As a Magic fan, I'd love to play Philly. Andre Miller will be tough to contain, but I look at our big 3 and their match ups. Dwight can usually play good against Daly. Iggy is a good defender but will either guard Shard or Turk. The other should have their way. Throw on top of that their lack of playoff experience and that's why I want them.

Toronto and Washington don't scare me, but neither of them would be any sort of easy in the playoffs. I don't see us playing Toronto, in my eyes it between Washington and Philly.

its always the inferior teams who always bring up the regular season doesn't count and that the playoffs is like some whole new basketball world. the playoffs is very similar to the regular season the inferior teams usually lose. its not like the magic don't have any playoff experience and are a young team. dwight is young but other than him who is all that young? seeing the magic lead all the regular season series i see no reason to believe there will be match up problems. bosh gives the magic problems but so does dwight. the mismatch for calderon just isn't great enough to outway the benefits of rashard and turkoglu. i agree the wizards have a chance if they can shut down howard to like 10ppg and keep him in foul trouble, but if rasheed wallace couldn't do that against a lesser howard in the playoffs last season brendan haywood has no shot at it what so ever. we easily have the best coach and will have homecourt advantage. you guys will have a lot of ground to make up to pull out a playoff upset against the magic.

There are no locks in the NBA Playoffs. I thought everyone realized this after what happened to Dallas...

My god this threads a complete mess.

Some magic fans need to learn from the other posters on their board. I swear to god the Magic board is the best and worst board on RealGM.

If you really believe in your team it wouldn't kill you to recognize other teams successes and still be confident in your own team's abilities.

A healthy Wizard team has 3 stars and can be trouble for any team in the first round.

Predicting a sweep, well only really outclassed teams get swept and that's just arrogant to assume you're team would sweep a WAS team.

Also, if you lost a game to WAS when they're running at 50% with a hurt Butler and no Areneas and someone brings it up. Don't respond with 100 excuses and a bitchfest.

It's by far the most entertaining. I mean it has a 2 hit series that were created on it, the most talented basketball player posting on RealGM that we know about, and a lot of really cool people. And then it also has it's dark side of posters... but hey at least those posters can keep pace with TOR fans!

if everyone took the middle of the road path and you didn't have the extremes of both sides then pretty much there would never be anything to discuss. just acknowledging the quality of both teams and not taking a position is an easy position to take. of course a healthy wizards team won't be an easy push over but will it determine the outcome of the series on who wins or not? some fans think it is irrelevant other think it is very much relevant. but wizard fans are (Please Use More Appropriate Word) if they their recent win in orlando is of any significance. if they think they will shut down howard and rashard every night they will be in for a big surprise. it would be just as dumb as the magic fans bragging about beating the wizards w/out caron and arenas.

If Dwight is on the bench in foul trouble half the game and Butler and Jamison are not, then it was not equally bad for both sides. 5 bad fouls against Darko does not equal 5 bad fouls against Duncan. Those Dwight fouls were touch fouls and flops. And that is not even getting into the multiple bad goaltend calls. But even with all that, we played terrible and could have easily won. The other 2 times we played the Wiz we played well and won by a ton. That does not bode well for the Wiz.

Come on guys you need to blame either Dwight for his lack of decision making or the coaches for not teaching him to choose between clean blocks & goaltending.... he is doing a couple of them every game. :banghead:

All im gunna do is look at the facts...

Look at the Magics record compared to the Wizards record...Sympathy for you injurys? hahahahahah having Grant Hill on your team for 6 years helps you realize that NO ONE CARES.

Did the Magic beat the Wizards earlier this year with the "big 3" healthy...YES at Washington...

I mean its fine to believe in your team...But some Wizards fans are refering to the one point victory like it is the detirmining factor or something...And acting like they can take us in the playoffs now after that game...You guys are getting wayyyyyyyyyyyyy ahead of yourselfs

And people stop refering to the Magic in the past and how weve had no playoff success blah blah blah...This is a TOTALLY different team...Rashards here...Turks a born again all star...Mos in there hustling...Dwights turned into a MONSTER...and we always have Garrity to unleash on people...This is a different team

I am a Magic fan and have no problem admitting that a healthy Wizards team is a legit challenge.

I do think bringing up Wednesday's game is stupid. It was one game, and probably Dwight's worst game of the season. Everyone has a bad night. I still think we can beat the Wizards in 6 in a playoffs series, but I am no homer. They are a serious threat.

Injuries or not, the series is 2-1 right now....who cares if it was a 1pt win or a 30 pt loss. If they meet in the playoffs, maybe the magic win the first two games by 30 each, and then the Wiz win the next 4 by a total of 4 pts, guess what, it doesnt matter.

Still a lot of basketball to be played, who knows if those two teams are even going to be matched up, plus, they still have one game left to play.

Magic excuse: WE HAVE A BETTER RECORD!! NOOBS YOU BEAT US BY 1 POINT WHERE DWIGHT AND RASHARD SUX!!

Wizards excuse: WHO CAREZ ITS REG SEASON ****, PLUS WE'LL BE HEALTHY BY PLAYOFFS AND PWN YOU.

You get the gist of it.

It's really getting unbearable. Just wait and see until the playoffs what will happen.
