I've got to think that when the NBA started up, at least some original member already had a tattoo.

tattoos were popular since the 1920s...I seen random NBA players back in the day with random arrow through heart or horse tattooes on their arms.

No, I mentioned his name because he hadn't been brought up in the thread yet. That's all.

Are you having fun taking every post in this thread seriously?

See, normally people actually post about the question that was asked. Acts of stupidity, like posting random players names, looks like the poster has a few cans short of a 6-pack.

Citizen.Eras3d, where did you find those cartoon jersey pictures in our signature? Could you show me a link? They look pretty cool.

The question was who was the first in the NBA to get a tattoo, not who looks like the biggest tool because of their tattoo's.

Compared to lots of other athletes Swift has some pretty good work. The tribal stuff he has is pretty terrible though, what a waste of skin. I always wonder why guys with all the money in the world can't find an artist who will give them some rad ink that isn't cliched.

Lamest tattoos = person's own name. Just get some dog tags if you're that worried about it.

From what I remember Cherokee Parks' tattoos looked like tweaker ink. Yuk.

I like Sheed's work as well.

Rasho has a giant Skull tattoo on his back that he never shows. He got it when he was 2 years old.

Im pretty sure they have a minimum number of tattoos for all non-white players in order for them to be eligible to play. Seriously only Najera and LK don't have mass amounts of ink.
