Irony at its Best

If the Mavs miss the playoffs and the Nets make it. The Mavs make the trade to "win now" and the nets make it to retool, and the Nets make the playoffs.

If I was another GM i would not trade with Rod Thorn, he does not make a bad trade.

Unless Eric/Aaron Williams are involved in the trade. Then it's a done deal.

eh.. it is what it is... when the nets and mavs met after the trade, mavs won in a big way.. its all cuz the west is in unprecedented territory w/the amount of great teams... i still think dallas got the better deal "for now", but im glad our future is w/devin

the nets seemed to have really gotten the better of dallas in this one... devin is outplaying kidd ... and they got diop and some 1st round draft picks on top of it all.... right now nets are up and in the future this trade just keeps getting better for them.
Summertime and the livin's easy....

If there was any semblance of balance between the top 8 in the East vs the top 8 in the West, you may have a point.

this is similar to the Nuggets not making the playoffs and the Sixers making the playoffs, im hoping Nuggets make it but the two threads are very similar, my answer to that stupid thread is the same as this.

But they're still way better than the Nets.

I'm tired of these threads saying this team will make it in the East and in the West this team won't. It's not ironic, its just a crappy conference.
