Hornets vs. Lakers (Paul vs. Kobe) MVP implication?

Post#1 » by shobe_81 » Fri Apr 11, 2008 8:17 pm

Does this game in your mind hold a lot of MVP implication today?

If Paul or Kobe perform better than the other and win the game, does it change how the MVP outcomes will be?

Lakers are only 1.5 games behind, will this game decide the MVP?

EDIT: Oh and ESPN was kind enough to have a Cavs vs non-playoffs (Bulls) match-up today on ESPN

I don't think one game should but it probably will because it will be fresh in the voter's minds.

It will only have a major impact if one player has a dominant game leading his team to victory or the other lays a stink bomb.

Yes, it could.

In fact, I think a win in a close game would do more than a blowout win.

If Lakers win than yes otherwise it's just another regular season game that means nothing.

its probably must win for the Lakers for Kobes chances, IF NO wins thats a 2.5 lead, and 2 wins in LA.....though for NO they have a 2-1 lead on LA, and a 1.5 lead on the standings, a loss would even things up.

Cant wait until the game..

Refs will have to force a lakers loss or else stern can say good bye to Phx vs. Lakers big rating drawer.
