What's funny is that, basically every team out West has a favorable match up they want, and don't want; New Orleans/Utah -- Phoenix/Utah etc.

The 1st round of the playoffs (at least out West) will be one of the more memorable 1st rounds in years.

If they win today and on Tuesday against the Kings they get that top seed and play either Denver or Golden State. They lose one of them and there is a pretty good chance they're playing Dallas or Phoenix.

Yeah I don't understand why the OP thinks this is only competitive for 4 teams. There is just as much excitement at the top of the standings as the bottom (if not more).

The Lakers and Spurs are playing for 1st place tonight. Houston amazingly still has a chance to grab the top seed because they own the tie breaker against the Lakers. The Hornets are coming down to earth at the wrong time.

Honestly not a clue, I could catch about 10% of that but it sounds like some elborate story planed out by a 14 year old with too much time on his hands. Whatever though, I'll wait a couple days and then I'll be able to figure out what's happening.

The East is much better and easier to understand. ATL is going to be the eight seed and our opponents in the first round.

We just beat ATL with our back-ups playing the entire fourth quarter going from a tied score to a 10 point win. Awesome.

Shhh... go back to sleep we'll wake you up when the playoffs start. I promise.

The Lakers, Hornets, Spurs and Houston are all tied or only 0.5 games apart. They all want the top seed and the Lakers and Spurs are playing in a couple hours.

If the Lakers win out and Houston does too, then Houston takes 1st because they own the tie breaker against the Lakers. That Shane Battier buzzer beater against the Lakers earlier this season may be the shot that gives them 1st place. Crazy....

What happens if all top 6 teams are tied at 55-27 ten how would the seadings look. I know its a long shot for this to happen but David Stern has done crazier things right. So does anyone have the breakdown if they are all 55-27??

Wow... huge mover... Now Spurs are matched with Utah for the 6th seed. Utah is all hoping that their archienemies, the Thuggets, win the game tonight. If they don't, it will be quite an interesting post season with Ginobli back.
