i would think if you're internet savvy enough to register and post on realgm, you'd be able to find a way to search for NBA season records?

It was the 02-03 Celtics, they averaged 26.28 3-point attempts a game.

Well, it does have this fun stat.

Most three-point field-goal attempts, none made, game
11-Antoine Walker, Boston at Philadelphia, December 17, 2001

Ah, memories.

oh, well i have found that if you want a topic to stick, ask a question that you know will generate alot of opinions that differ, it leads to the most discussion.

perhaps "Does setting the record for most 3's attempted mean playoff success?"

then you'll get all these people telling you how shooting cant win, only grabbing, holding, shoving and fouling wins in the playoffs...

Only five players in NBA history have shot below .275 in a season, yet had the temerity to take more than 250 of them. Antoine Walker is three of those players. He's also the only player ever to shoot below .400/.300/.500.

Are these in any way relevant? No! But everyone needs more Antoine Walker Factoids in their lives.

And he COULD have been sooo good. What a shame. Hes one of the guys MJ plays with, I mean come on. I live in CT and played AAU basketball for a while. I remember being in boston once and talking celtics by the pool of a hotel we were staying at. A guy working there came out and said he sees the CEltics, Walker in particular out partying all the time and thats why, in his opinion, they never win.

As bad as the east was, you have to give a line up of Walker, Pierce, Delk, Rodney, Williams, Anderson(still there then?), Battie and a bunch of scrubs credit for getting the the ECF shooting 3s all the time.

Jason Kidd and Mookie Blaylock...Kidd as a rookie, and Blaylock while he was still a very good defender.
