LeBron had one dominate foruth quarter and overtime. He did NOT dominate the series. In fact, it was his teammates that got hot and won that series, especially Daniel Gibson from 3. Not too mention Sheed and Dice getting tossed from the final game that sorta impacted the outcome. No denying the Cavs won, but this revisionist history of LeBron single-handily beating the Pistons is pure BS.

Rasheed being tossed did not impact the outcome of that game. Sheed got himself tossed after the game was already decided.

LeBron shot >40% in only 3 of the 6 games of the 2007 ECF. He had some great moments and great foul calls, but it wasn't all about LeBron.

The Pistons abuse the Magic on offense. It seriously seems like they make almost every single jumpshot out there.

I know the Magic are a better team now than used to be, but damn, the Pistons just toyed with us all through the first round last season.

Well I would put it this way.

Teams that can win the ECF: Orlando,Washington,Det,BOS [CLE would be here if they didn't get injuried the entire year and still haven't recovered]

Teams that can win the NBA Finals: DET, BOS

A team like CLE might sneak in there but I doubt that means little more then 2 straight years of the East being sweept in the NBA Finals by the Spurs/Kobe.

Cleveland has, in many people eyes, the best basketball player in the world and Orlando has, in many peoples eyes, the best center in the league so I wouldn't call the East a two horse race. That being said, odds are in favour of a Celtics - Pistons conference finals but I think many people are underring the Orlando Magic. They may very well have the best front court in the NBA, and SVG is a proven playoff coach. I wouldn't count them out quite yet. Orlando won 51 games this year, they are a legitimate team.

If anyone but the Celts or Pistons makes the Finals I'll feel robbed of seeing what could be a very good Finals. Because it would really have to involve one of them having a really bad series and I don't see any of the other teams as real championship contenders.
