You're not actually trying to compare Stephen A's basketball knowledge to JVG's are you?

I think SAS would look great coaching the Knicks.

Personally, I wish someone would say "did he play in the NBA??? did he coach in the NBA???". That player would automatically become my favorite. It reminds me of Allen Iverson's "Practice" speech when some reporter was telling him he needs to raise his fg% and AI asked him if he plays basket and does he tell him how to write his sports page column.

Even if he is right doesnt mean steven a.s.s smith has to be a jag about the way he says it. Speak your mind but don't rip people just to get your viewings, have more class scrub.
Anyways really enjoy this video as a blazer fan/sas hater.

I bet you are right, that describes me.

Anyways, the main reason I find SAS to be so annoying is that he talks ridiculously loud and interrupts people. Generally he is surrounded by people more knowledgeable about basketball than himself, yet he always talks over them and cuts them off. His behavior is disrespectful attention whoring and I hate people who act in this way, regardless of the situation. In addition, when you always talk in an absurd, overly dramatic and critical fashion you lose any credibility when you address an issue that IS dramatic and worthy of criticism.

Man up, damn. Wish everybody would stop being so sensitive. Honestly, who gives a DAMN what some TV reporter says? At the end of the day if I'm watching TV I want to be entertained, Steven A provides that.

You should upgrade your cable package, Steven A. Smith is far from entertainment.

For all the people calling Bosh soft, explain yourselves.

All I'm hearing is he's soft and no explanation afterwards.

How is he soft?

Is it because he doesn't get to the line? Can't be, he's one of the best in the league at 9 fta a game.

doesn't rebound? Averages 9 a game.

doesn't defend? Average to slightly above average defender, unless we consider all average defenders soft I don't really see anything wrong with this.

takes too many jumpers? 58% of his shots are of the jump shot variety. Garnett's at 70%, Sheed's at 85%, again that can't be it.

So what is it?

SAS is annoying but he knows the game.

it was an obvious joke, but a classless one. Never any reason to go personal on national tv, ever.

SAS is arrogant and needs to respect his coworkers and peers more.

SAS doesn't know as much as he may lead on about the game...he has absorbed a lot from being around for so long...but he lacks the cognitive power to accurately break things down...so what he doesn't know about the game or about the semantics he makes up for with his opinion...it's common, many people do this...he just does his with more color, and he has been rewarded for it...

idt bosh is soft, just more of a slasher type pf. this is why lewis was able to guard him, he attacks by facing the basket, not so effective with his back to it like a regular big man.

Hes soft because he doesnt bang. He shoots jumpers...The rebounds he gets arent hard fought, they fall to him. Hes still a baller of an NBA [layer though so wtf.

The 2.6 offensive rebounds he grabs per game just fall to him? He shoots jumpers to the tune of one of the best And1 rates in the league over the last three seasons? Perception does not always equal reality.
