I agree with this. Nice and simple.

To the original question, if Denver would be better off with Miller. I don't think so the way things are currently constructed. Really has nothing to do with 1 player, it's the chemistry, mindset and philosophy of the team to win on the offensive end and win with talent alone. No one player would be able to fix that.

If were talking about systems where Iverson would be good in, I would love to see what he could do with the Mavs. I think he adds that slasher who can create his own offense that they need.

Looking at stats AI had a great season, but when you are as ball dominant as he has been all year they do not come close to telling the whole story. There is a reason that the Nuggets threw out the offense schemes this year, and it is because a certain SG does not seem to know how to follow them.

Yup, exactly. Picture Devin Harris with a wicked jumpshot.

I'd blame everything on George Karl. When you put the "Offense wins game, not defense" mentality on a young team, it's hard to rebound from that. You can still be good with the run n gun, but you have to at least put in some effort on defense and the Nuggets just don't do that.

Also each time I see them play, I always get the "F--- this, i'm going to get mine" feeling.

they was pretty good with jr and miller in the starting backcourt instead of iverson.

One thing I've noticed during all of the timeouts they show:

NONE of the players are paying attention to Karl. They're all either looking disinterested into the croud, talking to eachother, or just staring off into space.

Is this a coaching problem? Yes.
Is this a player problem? Yes.

The group of people they have just seem like they can act like they know better than Karl, yet they don't.

Really frustrating to watch

Yeah I just think Iverson has the mental toughness Dallas needs and Kidd does bring that, but he can't back it up anymore, AI still can.
