Tirico sucks.....

His voice is annoying, and acts like he knows sports. I don't how the hell they gave him a Radio show. I really don't know how he got the job at ESPN/ABC

^100% Agree on this trio being the best.
Snapper = BEST!

On Tirico he is a good play by play guy, it's just that Basketball is not his best sport to call - best at Football & Golf.

Tirico complains about Deshawn and the whole Soulja Boy thing for about half the game, the other half he complains about how it shouldn't affect the game, but no one else is bringing it up but him. He's clearly pro-Lebron and anti-Deshawn, which I don't really care about but I hate it when national broadcasts are biased like that (e.g. Joe Buck and his Brett Favre di** sucking).

And the end of the 3rd quarter, he complains about adding .3 secs left because he thought the clock should've kept going. It probably should've been like .1 or .2, but the point is, the clock freaking stops on the foul, and doesn't keep going. I seriously think Tirico only got a job because he's a black and ESPN had to comply to affirmative action.

Wow, me and my friend were saying those exact things watching that game. THANK YOU. This guy's a **** clown.

... and I hate Deshawn Stevenson, so it was pretty bad to make me upset about it.

Yikes! I missed that until people quoted it. THAT I don't agree with. Nor would most reasonable people.

hes a good announcer. not great. just good. i think the only reason why people liked NBC was the music. cuz the guys that call the games are still broadcasting today.

NBC's team, and Bob Costas specifically, were the masters of driving the "storyline" of each game without being cartoonish, repetitive, and outright stupid about it like ESPN and ABC. Each announcer and color man had genuine insights to share.

People remember those to be the golden days for good reason.

I think he's pretty good. Sounds like he's calling a football game though.

Again, Dunleavy, poor guy, is just not suited for the table.

How did it go from this:

To this:

That last one could quite possibly be the worst opening sequence I have ever seen.

I'll take Tirico over Reggie Miller any day. At least Mike has a good TV voice. Reggie's grinds on my soul. But yeah that .3 second thing killed me today.

Jackson/Van Gundy/Breen is my fav.

NBA on NBC rocked...

TNT does have a good comfy place.

I like NBA TV better than ESPN's or ABC's coverage btw.

Goddammit, you guys all got me nostalgic over the NBA on NBC days and I totally have the theme song stuck in my head now. Good old days. I miss the triple headers they used to do on weekends. Bob Costas is always a classic.

Tirico can be really biased, I remember when the magic played the C's earlier this year...just blatant C's slurping, it was like only one team was playing.

With that said the Wizards are still idiots..YOU DO NOT PISS OFF LEBRON JAMES OR KOBE BRYANT...EVER!

Good going Gilbert and Deshawn.

I think if you put McGee back then, he would get those blocks just as easily as Russell did. Russell's athleticism was well ahead of the players of his time, and that's about it.
