bowen is guarding nash for the playoffs, but do kobe bryant, gerald wallace, shane battier all guard nash often in the regular season?

i seem to remember bowen not guarding nash at all in the regular season game i saw. i didn't watch all of the regular season games though.

when's the last time you saw steve nash get double teamed?

how often does nash step up and score 32 points for the team?

nash is hiding is weak jumping ability.

tony parker and allen iverson are willing to go against a big guy, even if they could get fouled hard.

look, i'm not saying steve nash is a bad shooter. nash is an excellent jumpshooter.

i just think that his credit should be toned down maybe 9%.

i see that no one has posted that they disagree with nash's job being easier. it's common sense that if a point guard gets better scorers, then his job as a passer is easier.

why did you respond in 4 separate posts? haha...

Nash doesn't get doubled because of his passing ability.

His role is to get his teammates easier shots, not to score 30+ for his team to win.

Haha @ "hiding weak jumping ability". Nash is not an explosive player so why would he drive into a big man when he can be much more efficient taking jump shots? That's like saying Parker is hiding his weak 3pt shooting by driving into the lane. They do the things which maximize their chances of scoring. Might as well saying Parker's stats are misleading too. Flawed logic.

i wasn't comparing parker's 3 with nash's, so how is that suddenly my logic?

my logic is that nash's percentages would be lower in certain situations. end of story. i do agree with what someone else said, that certain players would be better off if they had better shot selection. i'm telling the other side of the story for steve nash.

another example of nash's activeness, something i saw him do in the past, was very quickly try to touch his teammates' hands during games. after an offensive play, he would touch not only the scorer but also a non-scorer. he was probably the most active hand slapper or hand toucher from the games i saw.

in fact, going by my logic, tony parker's 3 point percentage would go up if he went to the phoenix suns and had a similar 3-point shot selection.

if steve nash went to the spurs, then nash would have to play with a slow tim duncan. nash wouldn't be able to fill the slashing role that parker had.
