Yep, many were blaming him.

Dirk also flopped like I've never seen a 7 footer flop before. On at least 3 different occasions, he fell back on his ass a few feet on a jumpshot after contact with the top of his forearm. Let me state that again, because it bears repeating: after some contact with his wrist, he immediately fell backwards on his ass.
There were other times where Dirk got tangled a bit with guys going after the ball, and he just falls back on the floor. He did this constantly and it pissed me off. That's not something a team leader does, and it doesn't send the right message.
A team leader can't play like that. A team leader needs to show toughness, energy, enthusiasm, and encourage his team.

For example, in game 2, with his team down and facing a possible 2-0 situation, he took just 11 shots. What made it worse is that he made 7 of them. Why would the team's best player who is shooting 64% not take more shots with the team losing? I can't understand that. I thought Bass was the only player in the series who looked like a leader. He was high-fiving teammates, brought a no-nonsense attitude, energetic play, thunderous dunks, and he did the things a good teammate does. He tried to resuscitate the team, and I didn't see that from Dirk.

dirk had 15 ft's in game 2, thats part of why he only had 11 shots
and i hate the flopping argument, he didnt fall down that much, only time he flopped was when tyson got that T and dirk fell to the ground in game 1.
why is dirk the only one who gets blame for this, if paul shot a fadeaway he'd fall down and got the call a couple times b/c of it. hell tyson chandler tried to flop on jet terry, now that is embarrassing.
