Rough way to go out, but there was potential for a rout

76ers had quite the season, and even better after making the playoffs - I loved watching them play, seeing them on a pretty regular basis through out the year.

They have a bright future with their young players and cap space this summer. As well as quality veteran players. They have to get an interior offensive presence, and 2 or 3 3PT shooters, eventually.
The Playoffs don't care about your Analytics

This series ended by the 3rd quarter in Game 4.
We had the chance to plunge the dagger in their hearts, but all credit goes to them, as they turned it around and did the reverse.

As a Sixers fan, I give the Pistons all the credit in the world; they flat out destroyed us when it mattered...no shame in losing to the most dominant Eastern team in the past 5+ years.

STChaser, I guess Pistons really aren't all that superior to Sixers.

See, the problem with the Pistons is that they'll lose a couple of games before they win four to close the series. And you can't do that in the second round because when you lose some games but win four games against a better opponent you don't...wait...you can't lose some games but win four because that will come back to bite...uh...nevermind.

The Pistons are old slow and declining before our very eyes...

If this game didn't show them how far apart these teams truly are, I don't know what to tell them...

I wish this was the same thread from game 3 and the first half of game 4 so we could see some quality Philly fans posts.

Early Drama, then Every thing falls into place. Typical Pistons 1st round.
