Skip to the bottom for the answer...
Frankly, they have a realistic chance. I don't think they're quite as good as the Spurs or Lakers, but that doesn't automatically rule them out.
If they steal a win on the road against a rusty Lakers, they can ride their home support to the WCF, and there's a huge possibility that they won't have to go through San Antonio to play for the biggest bikkies.
The Spurs' regular season form fooled me in to tipping their first round exit. They've shown us all once again not to write off a champion, but the Hornets match up with them beautifully, and gave SA a beat-down in the regular season (there I go again). If Tyson Chandler can avoid the foul trouble defending Tim Duncan is likely to invite, I think NO's home-court advantage will see them winning through in maximum games.
Should the Jazz sneak past LA and play the Hornets, a victory is a solid bet, with the way Deron Williams has routinely outplayed Chris Paul.
Utah lacks the athleticism amongst their bigs to be effective interior defenders, but you can be assured they'll secure a rebound when needed. When their offense is firing on all cylinders, it can make the defensive lapses matter less, but their biggest obstacle is: postseason play requires defensive stands for (sometimes extended) stretches in the end game. Although they possess the most efficient clutch offense in the league, they have trouble making the crucial stops. That's a big flaw.

Funny you say that Dc , I have a funny feeling in my gut that they will lose both games .
Mark it .
Wait...did the Jazz really win yesterday?
I can't believe that. This guy had a funny feeling in his gut hat they would lose the next two games!! How can anyone go against that?!?! He also MARKED it!!! He MARKED it!!!
There's no way the Jazz won yesterday. Getting past a funny feeling in someone's gut is almost impossible on its own, but once he MARKED it that had to of ended it.

Yea this is probably their biggest problem in my opinion. They might benefit from signing a guy like Kwame Brown, believe it or not. As long as he's willing to take a MASSIVE pay cut of course.
