Barkley looked totally wasted tonite

He could not string together two sentences without slurring words. He was forgetting and not paying attention at all. He didnt show up for inside the nba because he was "sick". Ernie and Kenny were starting to get embarrassed when he was doing his analysis.

Usually he is funny but today it was painful to listen.

I noticed that he was even more incomprehensible than usual. I couldn't help but wonder... I barely understood a thing he said before the Hornets/Spurs game.

Maybe that's what happens when he feels sick though?

I didn't notice. He always slurs and rarely makes sense. That's the Chuck I know.

He did say that the Spurs will have trouble with David West cause they don't want Rasheed to get into foul trouble.

They said he got sick and he wasn't there after the Hornets game ended.

In fairness any number of medications can make you drowsy or lightheaded. That's why they always say not to operate heavy machinery lol. I know sudafed and benadryl knock me on my ass. Then again it's Charles, so maybe he was wasted. :lol:

Barkley was feelin a nice buzz for sure. You ever try taking benadryl or unisome and fight the sleepy feeling? After a few mintues you start seein stuff crawling up the walls and stuff.

Antihistamines are very powerful sleep-aids. I work nights and take Benadyrl sometimes to help me fall asleep. If you take them to fight sinus and allergy stuff it's almost literally impossible to function.

i remember seeing real sports on hbo and they were doing a segment on Chuck and he admitted to throwning back a few drinks before a show. I dont know if he was drunk or sick but he wasnt right at all last nite.

I swear on anything that i was thinking about making this same thread last night

I knew something was weird when he was trying to analyze the Magic game, calling Rasheed, Rashood...They he didnt know what the closer promo was and just looked stupid...Ernie and Kenny were embarassed.

Then he went home "sick" after the game...Thats the sign

It seems like there was a time last year when he was acting similar to this. I still very much liked watching the show at times it was hilarious.
