And yea, this was the dumbest post I've seen in a while.

Flopping does not directly relate to charges taken. I think more than half of the flops that actually get called are on the offensive end, like yelling while taking a shot when theres no contact, and falling down on a drive when you brush against a defender. And maybe manu's low on that list because refs actually caught on to his act and not giving him the charge call everytime he falls.

It will be very hard to officiate. For example, the play that used to get shown on youtube to show Wade getting calls was the one against Portland where he executed a spin move and hit the floor and a foul was called on a portland player, when noone was really close to him, some argue he was tripped. some say he fell over. Well, is that a flop, or did he just lose his balance? Does he get fined?

And I agree selling a call should be ok, fines should only be given if there is clearly no contact and the player is acting.

I think they should give an award to the most fined player each year.

Seriously.

"And the winner of this years Manu goes to...."
"Thibs called back and wanted more picks," said Jorge Sedano. "And Pat Riley, literally, I was told, called him a mother-bleeper and hung up the phone."

For the 600,000th time, go find me a Steve Nash flop video FFS!

THURSDAY'S WORST
San Antonio Spurs: Sure Tony Parker scored 23 and Tim Duncan had a triple-double, but how do you explain the defending champions losing a 17-point advantage in a win-or-go home game? Also, the league announced this week that it will start cracking down on flopping. Talk about kicking a team when it's down.
