True, but ALOT of that was because Boozer got hurt for a year, the Jazz sucked, and ended up with Deron Williams.

If they win a few more games that year and end up with raymond felton, he isnt looked at as great.

I loved what the seattle gm did in his first year.

They ended up with Deron because Kevin O'Conner did some nice trading with some picks that he had by doing some previous nice trading.

To get Deron they traded their 6th pick and a late 1st round pick (something like the 21st) to Portland for the 3rd pick. They got that late first round pick from Detroit by trading Carlos Arroyo. At the time there were quite a few Piston fans who were proclaiming to the world that they "raped" the Jazz with that trade. Yet that trade allowed the Jazz to get Deron. Getting Deron wasn't all luck. It was also some solid manuevering by O'Conner.

It's Dumars rather easily. The only man to win titles without a super stud big man. Heck, there may not be any HOF'ers on that Piston championship team.
The most costly move was the drafting of Darko. He could have picked any number of guys like Bosh,Melo, or Wade and we are looking at atleast 2 , maybe 3 titles.

Dumars will make another run in 2 years , this guy just DOESN'T rebuild. He RELOADS and does it very impressively. Finding diamonds like Maxiell,Stuckey,Prince, and Okur late really puts him over the top

The Gasol trade should be investigated. There is no way a person of half intelligence would make that trade. I wouldn't past the Buss to throw a lot of cash to the stingy Memphis owner on the side for that. No way a 20-10 guy with great passing skills for garbage when the Bulls offered more.
This rules out Mitch automatically.

THe Scola trade , when PF was dire need for the Spurs was absolutely stupid.
