You can find clips that show bad calls in both directions. What about the time in the fourth quarter when Fisher got two foul shots when he basically handed the ball to Powe on a platter and Powe took it? The Vujacic three that cut it to six came after Kobe wrapped both arms around Pierce while Pierce was dribbling. On one of Powe's dunks, Turiaf hit him after the fact. Rondo tried to come off a high screen and got hip checked by Radmanovic, yet they called Rondo for an offensive foul for warding him off.

In my opinion, KG should have had a foul on that Gasol alley-oop and they should have called Pierce for the foul out front on Bryant, negating the basket and sending Bryant to the line for two. The Turiaf block, though, was a clear foul - he flew in from out of the play (so there's no verticality issues) and literally landed on top of Powe. If three-point shooters get that call all the time, so should a guy trying to shoot at the rim.

But the bigger issue was this: by my count, the Lakers really attacked the rim nine times in the whole second half. That includes four completely uncontested dunks (Gasol had one off a high-low feed from Odom, Turiaf had two alley oops back to back and Radmanovic had his five-stepper with a minute to go). Other than that, you have Kobe's twisting lay-up when he got the T, Odom's obvious charge into PJ Brown, the Radmonavic put back off the Kobe miss (could have been an and one - I thought live that he was hit low and the replay backed it up), Farmar's out of control lay-up (he clearly wasn't touched) that resulted in a Laker over the back foul that wasn't called, and a shot from Odom at the rim early in the third quarter that KG blocked (looked very clean).

Everything else in the whole second half were jumpers. The second half started with a six-foot hook shot from Gasol (a soft shot as he shied away from contact), and Kobe pulled up for two jumpers from 6-10 feet late. But the other 25 field goal attempts were from 15 feet and out. The Lakers were in the bonus very early in both the third and fourth quarters, but didn't take advantage by going strong and forcing the C's to foul. Look at the play-by-play. When the Lakers took a shot in the second half, it was usually a pretty big number before the word 'foot'.

By contrast, Powe took the ball strong to the rim eight times in the second half by himself - in eight minutes. Two dunks, three lay-ups, two drawn fouls, and a miss.

And Kobe was stupid for trying to send a message with a little elbow out in the open in front of the refs. You ward off with the forearm and no ref will call it, but once the bows start flying, however soft they are, the refs will blow that whistle.

Since you didn't use the brain, let me help you out!

Here is what he said:
"To me the Vlad travel was almost proof that the Lakers were getting screwed so much by the officials that the ref didn't make the call. That was one of the most obvious travel calls in history and a little league umpire could have made that call."

I believe he meant that Lakers were getting screwed by the refs so much that the refs had to let that travel go to kinda give the Lakers at least something.

Uhhh...yeah. You just owned yourself. I got what he said. Then I said what I said. You just made yourself look real dumb, guy.

Laker fans have been asked to come up with a list of bad calls and have come up with very few. You don't know whether that would have helped or hurt the Lakers. If that's the best you can come up with, then I have every reason to believe many people are exaggerating. Since I did watch the game, I can confirm that people are exaggerating.

Why do you keep on saying LAKER FANS?

Almost 3/4 of the posters on here happen to be fans from other teams.
Yet you keep on calling every poster Laker fans.
Your blinded by your ignorance since everybody including peps that dispise the Lakers are also posting that last nights came was so off that its easier to prove who murdered JFK than to admit the Lakers got screwed last night......

You and the OP came on here and asked everyone that disagree with you to prove to you and everyone else that the calls were fair and everyone did.

We didnt start this thread about the Reffs sticking it to the Lakers ...YOUR MEMBER FROM YOUR BOARD DID.................
Now all you can do is say that people are exaggerating............... What a Joke.............

Bryant had seven free-throw attempts, Gasol had one, and Derek Fisher had two. That should tell you the tone of the calls.

One example .................Kobe Bryant drove from the wing and missed, Vlad was there to put it back in for the Lakers. Both players took hits as they shot with no foul called. And when Rando forced a drive late in the shot clock with no contact whatsoever

The OP is myopic, people don't argue with these guys because they're right about EVERYTHING.

Lakers have every right to complain. Kobe Bryant gets not special treatment from the refs and the Ray, KG and Pierce are 3 players who get the most preferential treatment in the league.

The Lakers had 16 more fga's inside the paint... Yet at one point during the game the free throw discrepancy was 30-2.

I dont think anything more needs to be said.

There's an entire thread dedicated to complaining about refs. Thinking about it, I've realized that we really don't need one that's talking about complaining about refs.

Keep it in the designated thread and keep the attacks to yourselves.
