What's with the home/away reffing discrepancy?

Its a recent thing (ie past 5-10 years) where refs have been switching from a more traditional call a physical/finesse game in favor of the home team to a just make the calls for the home team.

This is ridiculous.

Is it not common sense to think that maybe the worse the officiating is, the more people will complain about it. We just happen to be reacting to one of the worst officiated games in the history of the NBA Finals. It's only natural a lot of people will have a problem with that, whether they are Laker fans or not.

Yes, I'm one of those people who just wants to see a FAIR basketball game. Celtics did a great job in game one and beat the Lakers, but in game 2 the refs dictated the tone early in favor of Boston. That's what cheesed me, one of the worst officiated playoff games since those Mavericks vs Heat finals.

True you never hear them cry when they take 20 more free throws against everyone else and always get the close calls. Oh and do not get me started with them just being handed Gasol to even get this far.

LOL, what do you want us to do? Cry when we are getting the calls, lol.
OMG, WTF?? Why are we getting to the free throw line so much? Why are the refs helping us so much? This isn't fair, I don't like this.....seriously, wtf do you want us to do?

Could they have picked a worse group than Joey Crawford, Bennett Salvatore, and Mark Wunderlich for game 3?

Since the three most incompetent refs will be there tonight, it is very likely either C's fans or Lakers fans will be pissed at them after tonight's game.

10 free throws is ridiculous. Against the Hawks, the Celtics did nothing but take jumpshots and were still shooting more than that.

If the Celtics can play D without fouling, what happened against the Hawks? I'll wait for your "conspiracy" answer.

Yep, all they did was shoot jumpers. I'll take your word for it. At least other Hawks have been very good and have acknowledged that the better team won. If you can list me 10 bad calls that Boston got away with, I'd love to hear about them. The Hawks and Lakers are two entirely different teams, so I don't know why you'd even ask that question.
