Lakers/Celtics reasoning all summer long

Post#1 » by JordansBulls » Tue Jun 17, 2008 5:50 pm

All I know is that whomever wins this series the other side will be complaining about something. This will happen all summer long as well.

For the Celtics if the Lakers were to win the series: Most would say it is because Perkins was injured, Pierce was playing on a busted knee and Ray Allen was thinking about his family.

For the Lakers if the Celtics were to win the series: No one other than Kobe came to play. Pau Gasol and Lamar Odom didn't come to play and they are soft, we didn't have Bynum. We would have won if it wasn't for the free throw disparity in game 2.

That is how I see it going on over and over all summer long no matter who wins the series.

your exactly right..........and given that both fan bases are a major presence on these boards it's going to be hell for the rest of us to put up with these excuses.

It's pretty much what always happens.

I'm more worried about people crying "fix". If the Celtics win a lot of people will point to game 2. If the Lakers win (a long shot) there's going to be a lot of crap because they'd be the first team to come back from a 3-1 series.
