that's obviously going to happen though..
he's arguably the best player in the NBA..he can opt out soon..his team hasn't surrounded him with the necessary help to keep him as happy as he could be..he's close friends with a guy that owns part of a basketball franchise, that happens to be moving to a huge market..
you just have to get used to it bro..

I believe him. I think the Knicks are pretty much off his radar. He will be a Cav or a Net, but I think he will be a lifer in Cleveland. He has the upper hand in future endorsement negotiations. He doesn't need New York, unless his stock drops.

Unless they get at least back to the Finals in the next two years (a major move would need to happen, and I'm not sure they have the assets) then Lebron will leave.

It has happened before with star players when they are with medicore casts and in small cities. It isn't anything new. If the Cavs have a good team around him, he will stay. If not, he will leave.
Lol, perhaps leaving? Almost everyone outside Cavs fans KNOWS that he is leaving...

Care to expound on your certainty?

You know, that's this certainty you can see in numerous articles and threads everywhere what Cavs fans (I'm one, too) hate...

See this sort of talk out of alot of players - I am sure we once saw that out of KG - yet he bolts ship and gets on the championship bandwagon - and this proves to say loyalty doesnt neccasarily reward you.

It's not that hard to believe is it? Lebron has tried to take his team on his back ever since he got to Cleveland. And the Front office did a piss poor job of assembling a team around him. It's not working. What can they do to build a contending team around him by the time he can opt out? Nothing. He would have to wait for cap space, and hang around for a few years on a tanking team to get any decent talent around him right now. More likely that he leaves than not.

What makes you think the Cavs are not contending team right now after going to the Finals and barely losing to the champs? And what makes you think that with right tweaks (don't need to be major changes) which are far from impossible they will be only better?
Plus, LeBron said numerous times that he wants to bring championship to Cleveland and it's not hard to believe him given he is a local kid...Either he wins one during next two years and then he won't have any reason to leave successful team or he will sign with Cleveland for another three years to try again. These are most likely scenarios if you ask me. If there is no progress whatsoever which is hard to imagine, I believe he'll be gone after next contract expires, most likely to Brooklyn.

I hope Lebron never leaves the Cavs. I hope he stays trapped on a mediocre team all his career and never graces the finals again. I hate seeing the Cavs run that boring pick and roll stand around offense so the less success they have=less tv appearances=more enjoyable NBA.

He'll stay if CAVS management manage to get some high quality sidekick for lebron, if not he will be moving somewhere, where is still uncertain.
