I don't disagree with the sentiments above about Prince, I do think he is limited, but to insist that Flip tried for 3 years to get Prince as a #1 option on the Pistons is just plain false. If anything, he consistently ignored Prince when they had glaring mismatches at the position.

Flip's entire system is based on running around and around and around and passing around and around until the opposing team gives you a good jump shot. That's not Prince's game, not even close.

I don't know the exact stat, but he scored around 20ppg on average in games where 1 of the other starters was out. And his effeciency went up in the process.
